Our curriculum has been developed by PADI. The Professional Association of Scuba Instructors, internationally renowned and the world's largest scuba instruction institution. PADI Discover Scuba

2 hour session, 1st time / no experience, no swimming skill necessary.

PADI Reactivate/Refresher 1

2 hour Session, Experience required .
For Certified Open Water Divers and above who have been out of the sport for a while, missing the water and want to get their fins wet again. Run through the gear and all the skills at your pace.
All dive tour operators require a dive within the last 12 months before any tour or WILL require a pool refresher before letting you join. Includes all gear and pool admission.
PADI Reactivate/Refresher 2

For certified Open Water Divers and above that have really let their gills dry out and feel they have forgotten so much that they need to start all over again. You aren't starting from scratch, you are starting from experience. You will do online study with a knowledge review (included in this course), before getting in the water to brush up on skills and equipment familiarity.

Certification Study (E- Learning)

Practical knowledge
You will receive the link to start e-studying and your Divers Log Book. E-learning takes from 5-10 hours of home study in which you will learn the techniques, theory and safety protocol that allows us to enjoy the under water world.
You will complete quizzes and a final exam, the passing score is 75%. The final exam must be completed prior to certification, not necessarily prior to final open water dive.
Includes E-learning, Divers Log and Certification card.
Certification Confined Water Dives

Confined Water Training
2 consecutive evenings at the Aspen Rec Center 6-8 pm.
You will complete Confined Water Dives 2-5, learn and practice dive skills at a max depth of 12 feet. You will have the choice of either a 200 yard swim or a 300 yard snorkel/fin swim, required, but with no time limit. This concludes your pool training. Recommend this session concurrent with e-learning.

Certification -Open Water Dive Local Dive Option

Open water check out dives can be completed locally but it's gonna be chilly with limited visibility. Nearby lakes are suitable(with a good wetsuit). You will make 4 dives in 2 days. This option is only available in july and August when the water is warmest. You will need your own wetsuit for these dives.
Certification Open Water Dive Referral

A referral is available free of charge at any time during your training. The referral may be taken to any PADI instructor, dive center, or dive resort in the world to finish your certification. It is the responsibility of each dive student to arrange and pay for this furthering education. A referral lasts for 12 months from the last training segment. A referral is the most popular option in Colorado. Take it to the tropics and with 4 dives in 2 days you can finish your certification.
