No studying, no exam, no pressure. You can learn how to use the gear and basic techniques of scuba diving without committing to a certification course. We offer some short sessions that allow you a peek into our underwater world. Although the equipment can look pretty intimidating, it's designed for ease of use, (8 year olds have no problem). Actually 8 year olds are very welcome !

We always start at the shallow end of the pool. You will learn how the equipment is used. We will teach you how to breathe normally, like you do on a chairlift (hopefully), and equalize your ears, like you would in an airplane. We will teach you how to breathe normally, like you do on a chairlift (hopefully), and equalize your ears, like you would in an airplane. You'll try on snorkel gear, but you won't be using that snorkel much because.. An air tank is attached to your inflatable floatie vest, aka bouyancy compensating device (BCD). You'll put this on and cinch it up comfortably. Push the inflate button, you'll float now. Bite onto your air hose mouth piece ( the regulator ), breathe in breathe out. Push the deflate button to submerge.
